Before surgery it is important to have a consultation with your surgeon. Having a consultation prior to your surgery allows your doctor to review important information that is crucial to the success of your treatment and is an opportunity for you to obtain answers to any questions you might have.
On the day of your surgery you will need to come to AZ Max with an adult who will remain in the office during your surgery, drive you home after surgery, and remain with you as you recover at home.
If you will be using general anesthesia (IV sedation) for your surgery, it is very important that you follow the instructions below. Failure to do so may result in the delay or cancellation of your surgery as anesthesia cannot be given otherwise.
Important note: The pain medication you are prescribed may contain Tylenol (acetaminophen, APAP) as well as a narcotic. Do not take other medications containing Tylenol at this time as this could cause liver damage.
