AZ Max Dental Implant Mini-Residency & Staff Training Opportunity: Synergy Training Program and the AZ Max Practice Growth Series Less than ten percent of dentists restore dental implants. Take advantage of this fact and grow your practice by participating in the Synergy Training Program (STP) sponsored by Arizona Maxillofacial Surgeons and Biomet 3i. Through this five part series your clinical skills will be cultivated with an emphasis on treatment planning. Working together with your peers under the direction of STP leader Dr. Gary Morris, you will have ample opportunities to consider different cases and the keys to successful treatment planning and delivery. Program participants will be awarded 35 CE credits upon program completion. As a participant, you are also eligible to have your staff members participate in the AZ Max Practice Growth Series (PGS) at no cost. This series will help your staff successfully develop and improve upon the skills necessary to ensure your practice is performing at its highest potential, further maximizing opportunities for practice growth by providing outstanding patient care and service. STP Dates : April 30 June 4 June 5 October 1 November 5 STP Leader Dr. Gary Morris : Dr. Gary Morris received his dental degree from the University of Illinois and completed his residency in Prosthodontics at the University of Missouri in Kansas City. He is a member of the American College of Prosthodontics, International College of Prosthodontics, Academy of Osseointegration and the International College of Oral Implantologists. Dr. Morris has lecture extensively both nationally and internationally on implant prosthodontics and related implant topics and maintains a private practice, limited to prosthodontics and restorative dentistry, in Buffalo Grove, Illinois. Most team members in a practice are required to wear multiple hats, but unfortunately the task of providing adequate training for each team member can fall by the wayside as a practice simply tries to accomplish the day to day tasks required for patient care. The goal of the AZ Max Practice Growth Series (PGS) is to provide the non-clinical training your team needs to develop into assets for your practice -- and keep them from becoming liabilities. This seven part series will address a number of topics including (but not limited to) communicating with all different patients (especially the "difficult" ones), confidently presenting treatment plans, increasing patient acceptance, the importance of tracking patients, how to get more referrals from patients, and how to become a valued employee in the practice. With the exception of the first session (March 23 - Photo Workshop), all sessions will be held Thursday afternoons from 12 noon until 5 pm. This provides adequate time for participants to discuss and develop new skills introduced in each session and review topics from prior sessions. Dr. Brent Boyse will be instructing the Practice Growth Series, and experienced AZ Max Treatment Coordinators will provide support to participants all along the way. Consistent evaluation of program content and follow up with participants will help ensure that the content introduced in each session is effectively incorporated in your practice. Program content for the Series will be dynamic and flexible, so as to adapt to the needs of individual participants and practices as they change and develop. PGS Dates: March 23 (6-9 pm) May 20 June 17 Aug 19 Sept 16 Oct 21 Nov 18 This Series is limited to the staff of doctors registered in the current Synergy Training Program or the Spear Study Clubs sponsored by AZ Max. To register or for more information, please call 480.325.7665
